The older school has been for sale since 2009 and it is located at 2620 Clinton Avenue and close to Governors Drive. The Veterans Affairs have a 60 day inspection agreement. My dad who was in the Navy and lived in Ardmore Alabama had turned down his VA benefits for treatment because he would have to travel to Birmingham Alabama facility and there was no room for my step-mother to stay with him in the hospital. She was going to have to stay in a motel that was close to the hospital and travel back and forth and my dad did not want her to do that. He made the decision to have the treatment at Huntsville Hospital and pay the difference.
